The Finance Executive is responsible for managing daily financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and providing data-driven insights to support business growth. This role involves end-to-end accounting tasks from bookkeeping to statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and maintain accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.
Daily Operations: Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and the General Ledger (GL).
Reconciliations: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
Compliance & Tax: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, handle SST/GST reporting, and liaise with external auditors for year-end audits.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash flow and perform forecasting to ensure sufficient funding for operational needs.
Budgeting: Assist management in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Typically 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance roles.
Certifications: Professional qualifications like ACCA, CPA, or MIA are highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software such as SAP, Xero, or QuickBooks.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills in English and local languages.
